Jackson & Jen | Peters Canyon Engagement Session

Jackson and Jen’s engagement session took place at Peters Canyon Regional Park, one of my favorite spots in Southern California for its open trails, natural textures, and soft golden light. It’s the kind of location that feels calm and unfussy, which set the tone for the entire session. The evening was relaxed and unforced, giving them space to simply be together without pressure or overposing. We moved through the canyon as the light shifted, focusing on natural moments and connection rather than perfection.

I’m especially excited to continue working with Jackson and Jen as I photograph their wedding this March (eeeek)! Engagement sessions like this create space to get to know one another, settle in, and document your story in a way that feels easy and familiar before the wedding day. It was the perfect way to begin working together ahead of their wedding day.
